Mr. Witt, Thank you for your interest in my magic activities.

First let me correct 2 things.

Your 1971 sentence is not me. I have never been a member of Ring 26 of the IBM.

Yes I was a performer and guest at the 2007 Motor City Magic Convention.

Also performed for the Abbott’s Magic Get-Together. I was one of the closeup magicians.

Also was a performer at Magi-Fest in Columbus, Ohio in 2000.

Also performed and lectured at Gatlinburg Winter-carnival of magic convention.

Also performed and lectured at Ft. Collins, Colorado - Magic in the Rockies convention.

Also performed and lectured in Washington, DC area - Magi-Whirl convention.

Ok that’s enough bragging for me.

I got interested in magic at age six. My dad got me interested. He performed a few tricks and never revealed to me the secret, so I learned on my own from books. I fooled him and would never reveal my secrets!

Yes I specialize in sleight of hand and wooden cigars became my favorite prop. I created them and sold them world-wide for 20 years. I still sell a few magic tricks on my website johnrogers.com. But I no longer create wooden cigars and wooden cigarettes.

Two different DVD’S were made to teach my wooden cigar sleights and also my favorite stand-up routines. Camirand Academy of Magic produced those DVD’S.

I was born in 1944 and my birthday is Mar. 2 - Tomorrow I will be 75 years old.
